James Thrailkill – A Conservative Voice for Rural Troup County

A lifelong resident of Troup County, James Thrailkill is a small business owner of 35 years, a veteran, and has served on the Troup County Zoning Board and Elections Board.

I would like to represent you as a Troup County Commissioner in District 2. It has been on my heart and mind for years to have a more active voice toward keeping Troup County a great place to live for all citizens. I need your support and your vote.

Experience

Through my work on the Troup County Planning and Zoning Board for the past seven years and the County Election Board for two years, I have enjoyed helping citizens while learning the processes of our local government. I remain committed to continuing this work with individuals interested in like-minded smart growth for Troup County. My experience and personal beliefs support my strong passion for our rural communities while working with our local city governments. I am also proud of my leadership experiences gained through serving in the Army National Guard. Together, we can work toward securing and maintaining a high quality of life within Troup County.

Fiscal Conservative – Maintaining a budget and being responsible with your tax dollars.

Public Safety – Keeping our Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters equipped to protect the public.

Quality of Life – Troup County is an amazing place to live, we have beautiful farm land, modern infrastructure, and an affordable cost of living.

Smart Growth – Strong leadership with a plan for sustainable growth

Collaboration – We are better together! Troup County working with the cities of LaGrange, Hogansville, and West Point.

Campaigns require funding and can be expensive. I am running a fiscally responsible campaign and your financial support, no matter the size, will be used wisely and greatly appreciated.
