James Thrailkill won the County Commission District 2 seat with 75.39% of the vote! Your voice was heard and we appreciate the overwhelming support. I look forward to being sworn in and I am here to serve you!
A lifelong resident of Troup County, James Thrailkill is a small business owner of 35 years, a veteran, and has served on the Troup County Zoning Board and Elections Board.
I would like to represent you as a Troup County Commissioner in District 2. It has been on my heart and mind for years to have a more active voice toward keeping Troup County a great place to live for all citizens. I need your support and your vote.
Through my work on the Troup County Planning and Zoning Board for the past seven years and the County Election Board for two years, I have enjoyed helping citizens while learning the processes of our local government. I remain committed to continuing this work with individuals interested in like-minded smart growth for Troup County. My experience and personal beliefs support my strong passion for our rural communities while working with our local city governments. I am also proud of my leadership experiences gained through serving in the Army National Guard. Together, we can work toward securing and maintaining a high quality of life within Troup County.

Collaboration – We are better together! Troup County working with the cities of LaGrange, Hogansville, and West Point.
If elected, I promise to give my best in truly serving and representing the people of District 2 in Troup County.

Campaigns require funding and can be expensive. I am running a fiscally responsible campaign and your financial support, no matter the size, will be used wisely and greatly appreciated.
